Our History

Alliance of Democratic Reforms Party (Aadar Party) took a significant step towards transforming the political landscape in India by holding its inaugural meeting on September 18, 2022. Recognizing the urgent need for change, the party approached the Election Commission to officially register itself and was granted registration under the Representation of the People Act, 1951. The registration, bearing the number 56/222/2022-2023/PPS-IV, came into effect on April 18, 2023.

The Aadar Party aims to address the shortcomings and challenges that have plagued the Indian political system for far too long. With a vision of fostering a more transparent, accountable, and inclusive democracy, the party envisions a future where the voice of every citizen is heard, and their concerns and aspirations are adequately represented.

At its first meeting, party members expressed their determination to bring about comprehensive electoral reforms, focusing on campaign finance regulations, candidate selection processes, and strengthening the integrity of the electoral system. Recognizing the corrosive influence of money in politics, the Aadar Party is committed to curbing the undue influence of financial resources in elections.

To achieve this, the party proposes stricter regulations on campaign financing, ensuring transparency in the funding of political parties and candidates. By imposing limits on election expenditures and introducing robust mechanisms for monitoring and reporting financial transactions, the Aadar Party aims to level the playing field, reducing the advantage enjoyed by wealthier candidates and parties.

Moreover, the Aadar Party acknowledges the need to reform the candidate selection process. It seeks to prioritize meritocracy, inclusivity, and diversity in candidate nominations, ensuring that individuals with competence, integrity, and a genuine commitment to public service have the opportunity to represent the people. By promoting fair and transparent selection procedures, the party aims to break the stronghold of dynastic politics and create a more representative political landscape.

The party also recognizes the significance of reinforcing the integrity of the electoral system. It intends to work closely with the Election Commission to enhance voter education, minimize electoral malpractices, and ensure a free and fair electoral process. The Aadar Party emphasizes the importance of empowering voters with knowledge and awareness, enabling them to make informed choices and resist the temptations of corruption and divisive politics.

In addition to electoral reforms, the Aadar Party aims to tackle broader societal issues such as social inequality, economic disparity, and communal tensions. It envisions a society where every citizen, irrespective of their caste, religion, or socioeconomic background, has equal opportunities and access to resources. The party strives to bridge the gaps that have divided communities, fostering harmony, understanding, and a sense of national unity.

As the Aadar Party sets forth on its mission, it recognizes that achieving meaningful change requires collaborative efforts. It seeks to engage with like-minded individuals, civil society organizations, and other political entities to build a strong network of support and collectively work towards a more vibrant and inclusive democracy.

With the registration process complete, the Aadar Party is poised to embark on its journey of political transformation. By advocating for electoral reforms, prioritizing the interests of the people, and championing the values of transparency and accountability, the party aims to rejuvenate the democratic spirit of India and contribute to a brighter future for its citizens.
