He is an advocate in the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi, possesses an impressive academic background. He holds dual post-graduation degrees, including a Master of Science in Genetics and a Master of Law in Constitution Law. He further pursued a Ph.D. focusing on the Anti-Defection Law, successfully obtaining his doctorate from Osmania University.
During his tenure as an advocate in the High Court of the combined Telugu states, Dr. Eada Seshagiri Rao served as the Government Pleader for Revenue, Co-operation & Agriculture for a period of five years.
Hailing from an agrarian family with a deep-rooted connection to political activities, he draws inspiration from his father Eada Chennaiah, a freedom fighter and elected Sarpanch of their native village, as well as his mother Eada Ratnamma, who also served as a politician holding positions as Sarpanch and ZPTC.
Driven by a strong sense of social responsibility, Dr. Eada Seshagiri Rao established the ESR Foundation, an NGO focused on Employment, Self-Development, and Rural Development. Through this foundation, he utilizes his earnings to provide assistance to those in need. Additionally, he has organized numerous eye camps, distributed spectacles and medicines, and conducting cataract operations for individuals in need.
Passionate about the welfare of the people, Dr. Eada Seshagiri actively engages with various organizations to contribute to the development of his community. He has held positions such as State Goud Sangham President, Goud Hostel General Secretary, and Goud Official Professional Association President. Notably, he played a pivotal role in establishing the BC Advocate Association in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. In 1999, he served as the General Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh High Court Advocate Association.
Recognizing the importance of political awareness, Dr. Eada Seshagiri Rao founded the Southern Political Academy. Through this initiative, he conducts awareness classes for individuals who lack proper understanding and knowledge of politics, ensuring that they are well-informed and empowered.
He multifaceted contributions, ranging from his legal practice to his social initiatives and political awareness campaigns, demonstrate his unwavering commitment to the betterment of society. His dedication and efforts serve as an inspiration, creating a positive impact and driving meaningful change in the lives of those he serves.
He contested as a Member of Parliament from the Khammam Parliamentary constituency in 1999 and recently participated in the Munugodu Assembly constituency by-elections in 2022.
Dr. Eada Seshagiri Rao is the founder and the national president of Alliance of Democratic Reforms Party (Aadar Party) which come in to officially register itself and was granted registration under the Representation of the People Act, 1951. The registration, bearing the number 56/222/2022-2023/PPS-IV, came into effect on April 18, 2023.
